CREATION OF AN ART GALLERY IN NIMES
In November 2014, Gloria Stetbay opened a second art gallery in the heart of the city of Nîmes, near the Maison Carrée, next to the Contemporary Art Center, Carré d’Art. Its vast windows overlook both Rue Molière and Rue Voltaire. A stone's throw from the Jardins de La Fontaine and Place d'Assas, this beautiful space dedicated to contemporary art is a welcoming place for all passionate amateurs or collectors of art and a meeting place with artists. ...
’’When entering the rooms, and even already through the windows of the gallery, I have the feeling of being welcomed, in the full sense of the term, by all the works: like a broad smile, like wide-open arms.’’
Philippe. ANDRE Novelist, musician, psychiatrist-psychoanalyst.

ABSTRACT PERIOD
Her favorite themes are as diverse as her works. G. Stetbay masters various techniques and uses all types of materials: paper, wood; steel, stainless steel, resin, bronze. After the classical and figurative themes, she devotes herself to geometric abstraction and abstract expressionism, all of which are preliminary stages to her present expression characterized by a plicate, singular and very personal style which she describes as Deleuzien. The form and the light are born of crumpled contacts and reliefs in which the furrows are dreamlike meanders.
